The Town of Parry Sound is looking into LED streetlights. At last night’s meeting, Director of Operations, Peter Brown, was asked to share with council some of the work that has gone into researching LED streetlights for Parry Sound. Brown says town staff has a plan to show ratepayers.

He says once the residents see the difference, a report will be coming back to council to highlight the cost savings of LED streetlights.

Brown says there are plenty of companies that the Town can go to for advice on what the best option for Parry Sound would be.
