Local law enforcement torch run will feature Sochi Gold Medalist

Local law enforcement will be running with an Olympic Gold Medalist to help support Special Olympics.  The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics will be going through the Town of Parry Sound on Wednesday, May 21st.  Officers with the OPP and other law enforcement partners will run along with local Special Olympians and Brier champion and Olympic men’s curling gold medalist Brad Jacobs to raise funds for and awareness of Special Olympics.  The event will begin at 10:00am from the Parry Sound Fire Hall and will finish at the Royal Bank at the Parry Sound Mall.  For more information visit our website at  www.torchrunontario.com
