Parry Sound Nature Club and its volunteers will be out this Saturday for the Christmas Bird Count.
Parry Sound is one of over 2000 communities across the Western Hemisphere participating in the event that began in 1900.
The Nature Club is one of the many Canadian groups involved with the annual survey overseen by Bird Studies Canada http://www.birdscanada.org/volunteer/cbc/.
The information gathered provides researchers with valuable information about bird populations and migration patterns.
