Students at Parry Sound’s Canadore College will be staging a Walk-Out Friday December 15th at noon.
They’ll be joined by students from four other Ontario colleges confirmed to participate.
Organized by Ontario Students United, the move will attempt to settle unresolved issues created by the five week strike which shut colleges in the fall.
As part of their walk-out, students will be present their 5 demands including full tuition refunds and more freedom and fair workloads for college faculty.
When reached for comment by Moose FM, Canadore College said only that classes are scheduled as normal at that students are focused on their studies.
The walk-out is expected to last until 2:30 this afternoon.
