Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller urges residents not only to shop locally, but to give locally as well.
In his address in the Ontario legislature on Tuesday, Miller highlighted the efforts of local groups working together to ensure everyone is able to enjoy the holidays.
During his visit to the Moose FM radiothon last week, Miller praised the Salvation Army for their work providing support for families in need.
Parry Sound’s Adopt-a-Senior program, the West Parry Sound District Community Support Services and Canadore College were all mentioned as providing valuable services to the community.
While recognizing the efforts of all fire-fighters and police throughout the region, The Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP also commended the Burk’s Falls and Area Firefighters for their annual Christmas Food Drive.
