UPDATED: Another snow squall warning in effect for Parry Sound

The snow squall warning has ended.

It’s going to be a snowy Sunday in Parry Sound. Environment Canada has a snow squall warning in place for the town, as well as Rosseau, Killbear Park and all of Muskoka. The squalls are coming off of Georgian Bay, and could dump a quick 15 centimetres of snow this afternoon, according to the weather service.

Be careful on the roads today as conditions could quickly deteriorate with low visibility.

On top of the snow squall warning, Environment Canada is also calling for a drop in temperature. An Arctic cold front is crossing southern Ontario later this afternoon and into this evening. We could be seeing a low of minus 22 overnight, feeling like minus 29 with the windchill.

On Monday, Environment Canada is calling for a high of minus nine, but feeling like minus 28 with the wind. We’re also getting more snow, around five to 10 centimetres falling.
