A 40-year-old woman faces drinking and driving charges. Just after 7:00pm Monday night, West Parry Sound OPP pulled up behind a parked vehicle on the shoulder of Highway 69 in Archipelago Township. In speaking with the driver, the officer thought she may have been drinking earlier in the evening and an investigation revealed the driver had a suspended licence. The Muskoka Lakes Township woman has been charged with care and control of a motor vehicle over 80milligrams, driving while disqualified, and driving while under suspension. She will appear in a Parry Sound court next month to answer to her charge.
