More snow could be in the forecast for Parry Sound next week

The lake effect snow storms may not end this week.

For Friday, Environment Canada is warning more snow squalls are on the way with about 10 to 15 cm of snowfall likely. Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says the colder-than-normal temperature causing these storms is stretching into next week.

Coulson says we’re likely to see highs of minus ten next week, which is nine degrees colder than the average December temperature. This arctic cold is expected to stick around until Christmas according to Environment Canada.
