Police investigating more thefts in Almaguin Highlands

Police in Almaguin Highlands are investigating a number of thefts from across the district.  Sometime between May 2nd and May 5th tools, including drills, chop saws, and nailers were stolen from a River Road home in Joly Township.  A generator was stolen from a shed at a Stisted Road residence in McMurrich/Monteith Township sometime between March 21st and May 6th.  Police say jewelry, a laptop and printer, and a crossbow all valued at around $3000 was taken from a James Camp Road home in Ryerson Township sometime between May 4th and May 10th.  And sometime around April 26th, officers were told that two chainsaws and a 21-speed bicycle were stolen from an East Road residence in Armour Township.  Anyone with information regarding any of these thefts should immediately contact the OPP or if you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers and be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
