The Noise by-law in Carling has been updated. Last night, council passed a revised version of the noise by-law that Mayor Gord Harrison says is not much different from the previous version. Harrison says one item that was suggested to be added was a complete restriction on electronic noise that council didn’t include in the by-law. The fine for violating the noise by-law is $350 which is an increase from the previous fine, but brings it more in line with other by-law fines.
