Parry Sound businesses are encouraged to become more accessible and inclusive when it comes to serving those in the community with disabilities.
According to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, more than 1 in 3 seniors in Canada are living with a disability.
As well, seniors are the fastest growing age group in the country.
In Parry Sound, information on how businesses could get started towards becoming more accessible are provided through LINC, an organization working together with Community Living Parry Sound.
