Life saving high-tech CPR is coming to Parry Sound.
Town councillors voted last night in favour of purchasing ten Auto Pulse devices, mechanical units that apply chest compressions during CPR.
The devices provide a safer more reliable way of performing the life saving procedure, that according to Parry Sound Director of Emergency Services and Fire Chief, Dave Thompson.
Auto Pulse also allows first responders to perform other medical procedures on the patient while the device handles the CPR.
