Canadore College students may get a bit of a break when it comes to extra expenses caused by the
recent strike.
The province is making sure colleges create a dedicated support fund to help full-time students offset the
cash crunch they may have suffered during the break.
Canadore President George Burton describes what the support fund covers.

Those students who are not returning to class because of the strike will receive a full tuition refund. This refund also will apply to apprentices who were not able to complete their training because of the strike.
Students can apply for this support through their college and the fund will not affect any OSAP loans.
