Children aged 4 & 5 within the Parry Sound Hockey Club boundaries, were invited to play for free as an introduction to Parry Sound minor hockey. There will be no initial registration fee.
The free season runs from September 30 to December 17 (24 sessions) on Saturdays and Sundays. Should the player wish to continue from December 18 to March 31, then a $100 registration fee will apply. The player can continue to use the Club’s supplied equipment for this period.
The Parry Sound Hockey Club invested in enough hockey equipment to allow every Mite aged payer to “borrow” a full set of equipment. There was a fitting opportunity where players were sized for equipment. From this information, equipment kits will be made up for each registered player. If the player withdraws from the program, or at the end of the season, the equipment will be returned to the Club, disinfected, and stored for the next season.
A Mite Fun Day is planned to take place December 9th @ the BOCC
I think your grandson Jordan is part of this program, we have almost 60 children that enrolled for this program.
The group photo was not all registrants, the other photo I took one Sunday when I was out watching the players. It is all about introducing the players to the fun of hockey and the basic starter skills.
