Parry Sound using merger money for project now and in the future

With the passing of the budget Tuesday night, the town received close to $4(m) million from the merger of Lakeland Holdings and Parry Sound Power.  Town of Parry Sound Finance Director Trevor Pinn says the $3.9(m) million will be split up into a couple of avenues.

Pinn says the rest will go to a special reserve fund.

He goes on to say that the town is looking to build on its reserves and the $2.6(m) million is a good start.
