OHL announces its Most Outstanding Player of the Year today

The Ontario Hockey League will announce their most outstanding player of the year today. A conference is scheduled for 12:30pm at Ricoh Coliseum where the OHL will announce the winner of the Red Tilson Trophy. The award is in honour of Albert ‘Red’ Tilson, who was the OHA scoring champion for the 1942-43 season after scoring 19 goals and 38 assists in 22 games with the Oshawa Generals and was later killed in action in Europe during World War II. One player from each team is nominated and Aaron Ekblad has been selected from Barrie Colts while Nick Baptiste was chosen from the Sudbury Wolves.
