Fall colours are coming to their peak in Parry Sound

Now is the time to take in the fall colours in Parry Sound.

The Ontario Travel Centre says the change in leaf colours is getting to its peak point in the district. Officials suggest using the waterfront trail along Georgian Bay, the North Shore Rugged Hiking Trail near McDougall or taking a walk in Killbear Provincial Park. The park is open for campers until the end of the month.

While Parry Sound is still in full colour bloom, officials say Algonquin Park has passed its peak after an unusually early start to the leaf colour change. However, there are still pockets of colours along the Highway 60 corridor. You can keep up to date with the fall colour report here.
