The Board of Trustees from the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board will meet for the first time this school year.
The meeting is taking place Wednesday at 7 pm at St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School in Bracebridge in the school chapel.
After a mass held by Bishop Miehm there will be a commissioning celebration for the school board’s new student trustee McKenna McCoy. McCoy will represent the voice of over 21,000 students from the 50 schools in the board at trustee meetings.
Board of Trustee meetings are open to the public.
