The YMCA Employment Service in Parry Sound has an opportunity for local businesses.
The YMCA says its helping employer apply for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant. The job grant gives employers direct financial support for new employees or new training for current workers. It provides up to $10 000 for training costs per current employee and $15,000 per new hire. Any business with less than 50 employees is required to pay 1/3 of training costs for all employees.
