With municipal elections in Parry Sound and other surrounding municipalities going to internet and telephone voting, the process is a little different. Elections will take place on October 27th and there will be no proxy votes, no advance polls, and no physical polls at all. From now until approximately the end of July, potential electors can visit MPAC’s www.voterlookup.ca to confirm and/or update their electoral information. That list will then be given to the municipality who will send out a voter notification letter to eligible voters with a personal PIN number in order to cast a vote. The voting period will be from October 14th to October 27th.
