Sail Parry Sound is ready to grow. President of Sail Parry Sound Larry Woolner spoke to council last night to say that the first phase of the sailing centre is complete and phase two to upgrade the boathouse is ready to go. Woolner explained what the second phase includes.
The public attractions will be the rental of wind and human-powered watercrafts for use on the bay and a café kiosk with light refreshments and hot and cold snacks. The second phase will cost $240,000 and Sail Parry Sound is asking the Town for only their support as they look to get funding from the NOHFC and FedNor for most of the cost.
