It appears winter hasn’t left yet. The Parry Sound area received the forecasted snow overnight making road conditions possibly hazardous for the morning commute. All the major highways and secondary routes in the Parry Sound area are reported as snow covered. Roads here in town are also snow covered. The road conditions have caused two bus cancellation this morning as the bus to St. Dominic’s in Bracebridge or Stock Transportation bus number 437 in East Parry Sound will not be running. Elsewhere in East Parry Sound, Stock Transportation bus number 334 and Chisholm bus number 442 are both running 15 minutes late. Meanwhile all other buses in East and West Parry Sound are running and running on time this morning. It doesn’t look like the snow will be going away today as we can expect cloudy skies with scattered flurries today amounting to another 2-4cm and a high of just minus 3 degrees.
