It may almost be a month late, but the Town of Parry Sound wants to make the community cleaner. This year, Pitch in Week will be from May 12th until the 16th where residents are encouraged to clean up litter around the town or simply make an area of town nicer. Groups or individuals can register an area they wish to clean up with the By-Law Enforcement Department and get free pitch bags. On May 14th, the town asks everyone to take part in 20 minute makeover day where you’re encouraged to stop what they are doing at 2:00pm and clean up an area outside whether it’s at work, home, or school. You can also do your part by making your own property look nice by cleaning up your yard, fixing a broken fence, or raking the boulevard.
