A rainfall warning in effect for Parry Sound

A rain warning is in effect this morning while a fog warning has been lifted.  Environment Canada says regions from the Bruce Peninsula across Georgian Bay to Parry Sound and Algonquin could see anywhere between 25 and 50 millimeters of rain by tonight.  Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible and motorists are warned to avoid driving through water on roads as even shallow fast moving water across a road can sweep a vehicle or a person away.  A fog warning was issued early this morning and has since been lifted but drivers are warned to be on the lookout for patches of fog that could reduce visibility.  Meteorologists are keeping an eye on the rain and fog and will give updates if any changes happen.
