SIU investigating incident at Georgian Bay General

The Special Investigations unit is looking into an incident at Georgian Bay General Hospital.
According to the SIU a man was seriously injured after a run-in with the Midland Police.
The SIU says the man arrived at the hospital around midnight. Shortly after the police were called to deal with a disturbance at the hospital. The SIU says the man and police then had an interaction at the hospital. The man was then found outside the hospital without vital signs. It’s not clear why the man was found outside.
He was taken to a trauma centre in Toronto in critical condition.
