The East Parry Sound Regional Science Fair is being supported by a $3000 grant. Union Gas awarded the grant to the regional science fair yesterday to help students explore their interest in science and technology at a ceremony at Almaguin Highlands Secondary School. The East Parry Sound Regional Science Fair is open to all local grade 7 to 12 students and encourages students to undertake independent research in an area of science that interests them such as health or the environment. Chair of the regional science fair, George Stripe, thanked Union Gas for their continued support and says without it, the fair would not be possible. The East Parry Sound Regional Science Fair has been running for over 26 years.
