Seguin Township turns down new campground regulations

New regulations will not be coming to campgrounds in Seguin Township.
Owners and operators of the eight campgrounds in Seguin Township filled town hall last council meeting to protest proposed bylaws that would have changed the way they run their businesses.
The bylaw would have set clear definitions of campgrounds, and would have included a licensing fee.
According to campground owners, the new bylaw would have bogged them down in even more regulations. In a statement, they said that all three levels of government currently have regulations affecting campgrounds.
