Almaguin Highlands OPP dealing with a rash of break and enter and thefts. On April 5th, officers were called to a Union Street home in Strong Township concerning a break and enter and theft where sometime over the previous five days, someone came into a garage and stole two small generators and a Dewalt drill in its case. The next night, officers were called to a Yonge Street home in Burk’s Falls where someone broke in sometime between 8:45pm and 9:15pm and police are still investigating to see if anything is missing. Anyone with information into either of these cases are asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers.
