A ten-month investigation into a break in and theft has ended with an arrest.
A 44-year-old man in Barrie is being charged for breaking into a Hydro One transformer station.
On top of breaking in, he’s being charged for stealing a chainsaw and copper wiring.
The break in happened at the station on Beckett’s Side Road in Tay Township. The Southern Georgian Bay O.P.P. believe it happened between August 25 and 29th of last year.
The man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
