The West Parry Sound O.P.P. is looking into the death of a 59-year-old man.
Police and EMS services arrived at a home in Whitestone Township on Thursday morning after getting a report of a man showing no vital signs. According to police, the man was at the residence to help cut down trees. Police say that while working he was hit by a part of a falling tree.
Randy Tabobondung, a 59-year-old man from Wasauksing First Nation was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem is expected to be completed.
The Ministry of Labour is also taking part in the ongoing investigation.
