Constable Steve Mihills says the May long weekend is a popular party holiday, but boaters still need to be responsible while having fun.
Mihills says you can bring along alcohol in a boat, even if it’s been previously opened, but it needs to be sealed and stored away.
He says the amount of impaired boaters charged was lower than usual last year, but it is still an issue in Parry Sound.
