The West Parry Sound OPP is having an open house. The police building at 7 Bay Street will open its doors to the public for guided tours and information sessions for this year’s Police Week. This is happening on Sunday May 14th. Officers will give a guided tour of the facilities, and speciality units will be there to explain what their roles are.
The OPP’s Highway Safety Division, Muskoka Auxiliary Unit, Emergency Response Team, Marine Unit and Canine Unit will all have officers there. The Anishinabek Police Service will also have police officers at the open house. It all takes place from 2 to 4 p.m.
