Near North District School Board – Extended French

The Near North District School Board is inviting parents of students entering Grade 5 in September to consider the Extended French program offered by the Board. Information sessions are being held across the district. The purpose of the Extended French program is to develop students’ ability to communicate and interact in both oral and written French. The program helps foster the effective use of the language and the clear presentation of ideas across the total curriculum. Interested parents in Parry Sound are advised of an information session on April 20th at 6:00 p.m. at Parry Sound Public School. As well a session will be held on May 16th at M.A. Wittick in Burk’s Falls. For more info contact your school. Parents do not need to attend an information session in order to register their child for the program.
