Expansion of Natural Gas into McDougall too expensive

Natural Gas is too expensive to come to McDougall.  The Municipality expressed interest in extending natural gas to its residents in Noble and Taylor Subdivision.  Union Gas reviewed the request and told council at their meeting on March 5th that to make the venture viable they would need 2100 homes to participate and it would cost them each $39,000.  Council agreed that the cost is too much for McDougall residents top have to pay, but Mayor Dale Robinson says they will continue to look for other ways to fund the expansion.  Mayor Robinson also asked Union Gas to keep McDougall on the list on interested communities.
