Seguin Township is entering the race for Kraft Hockeyville 2017.
The winners of the annual competition get one hundred thousand dollars in arena upgrades. They also get to host an NHL preseason game in their arena.
Seguin township program coordinator J.J Blower says Humphrey Arena is a hub for hockey in the area – but could use some upgrades.
Blower says that the girls change room at the arena doesn’t have bathrooms or showers inside right now.
Nominations for Kraft Hockeyville end on February 5.
