Snow conditions this afternoon may move into icy conditions by tomorrow

Another blast of heavy snow is hitting most of Parry Sound this afternoon.

Environment Canada has warned 15 to 20 cm is likely, as a low pressure system from Colorado moves across the Parry Sound region.

Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says, we’re likely to see the temperature rise tonight leading to some rainfall and then drop again.

Coulson says that will lead to some very slick driving conditions for the morning commute.

As for the rest of today driving conditions could be deteriorating this afternoon as snow squalls move into the region, with visibility being reduced in heavy snow.

Coulson says we can expect to see some strong winds over the rest of the afternoon, causing some major blowing snow conditions.
