Support seems to be high to build a new Carling Community Centre.
This from Carling Township officials following the response from two separate community meetings about the plan to replace the old centre.
Deputy Clerk Megan Bonenfant says there is a mix of excitment and a bit of concern on price.
Bonenfant says all of this is still in the planning stages and no major decisions will be made until they’ve received more community response.
There is an online survey running for anyone that may have missed the meetings to have their say still.
A plan for the new community centre has a price tag of about $1.5 million dollars.
