Police catch driver going 89km/h over the speed limit

A southern Ontario man faces racing charges after being clocked at 189km/h.  Almaguin Highlands OPP was patrolling Highway 11 in Strong Township last Tuesday when they pulled over a vehicle after it was seen travelling well above the posted speed limit.  The 37-year old driver from York is charged with stunt driving, going more than 50km/h over the posted limit and will face his charge at a later date.  The man’s vehicle was also towed and impounded for a week.
