The West Parry Sound OPP is trying to reduce impaired driving. Constable Tim Negus says a drug-impaired charge involves prescriptions, over-the-counter, and illegal.
Negus says people think driving high is a lot safer than drunk driving but it’s not. He says drivers who get drug-impaired charges have the same penalties as those who are charged with alcohol-impaired driving.
