The Township of Carling has been forced to shut down its community centre.
Officials announced on Wednesday that the building had to be closed due to multiple significant issues.
These issues included Fire Code deficiencies and problems with the structure itself.
Community officials are already taking steps to find a new community centre and will hold two open houses starting next week.
An open house will be held on November 22nd between 5:00pm and 8:00pm and then on December 3rd between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
Both meetings will be held in council chambers at the Township of Carling office.
