It’s been a pretty hectic morning on the roads, especially in and around Barrie. Blowing snow and bad road conditions has caused multi-vehicle collisions and closures in and around the city. Central Region Staff Sergeant Peter Leon has the update.

Leon predicts the highway in the Barrie area will be closed for most of the day. Closer to home, a jackknifed tractor trailer had southbound 400 in Nobel closed for the entire morning commute but has since been removed and the lanes are open.
