A local curler is heading to Sochi for the Paralympic Winter Games. Former Parry Sounder Mark Ideson is part of Canada’s Paralympic wheelchair curling team as is hoping everyone will give him some support during the games by signing a banner. The banner will be at the Parry Sound Legion today, tomorrow, and Saturday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. Mark will then bring the banner to Sochi and hang it in the Ice Cube, where the curling event will take place. The Paralympic games take place from March 7th until the 16th with the curling event starting on March 8th.
