Ontario’s Auditor General is investigating the Winter Road Maintenance Program. Bonnie Lysyk (Lis-sick) will also be reviewing Ministry of Transportation contracts negotiated on behalf of the province. Our MPP Norm Miller says the conditions of our highways and quality of maintenance have been a huge concern this winter. The report is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year and will address things like response times, the number of maintenance vehicles used, circuit times for operators.
