This past weekend in Parry Sound Minor Hockey

Three Parry Sound teams traveled to the Soo this past weekend and came home with medals.  The Optimist Club Novices, the Rotary Club Atoms and the Fowler Construction Pee Wees all ended their seasons in style. The Novices went undefeated in the round robin, and lost in the Final to win the silver medal.  The Pee Wees, also won a silver medal, going undefeated in the round robin and losing in overtime in the final.  The Rotary Club Atom came home Champions, winning a gold medal, and was undefeated in the tournament.

The Brokerlink Midgets are finished for the season.  On Saturday night they hosted Penetang for game four of the series down two games to one.  The home team Shamrocks battled hard but it was the Flames who would score three times in the third period en route to a 5-2 win to take the series three games to one.
