Georgian Jumpers place fourth in Ontario Open competition

The Georgian Jumpers had a great showing at the Ontario Open Rope Skipping Competition in Brampton this past weekend. In team events, the team of Katie Partridge, Arden Milligan, Lauren Vaudrie, Nicole Ritchie and Stephanie Weeks placed 4th overall in the Ladies Intermediate division with a 2nd place finish in Pairs Freestyle; 3rd place finishes in Team Freestyle, Speed Relay, Double Dutch Speed Relay and Pairs Speed; 4th place in Double Under Relay; and 5th place in Double Dutch Freestyle.  In individual competition, Junior division, Nicole Ritchie placed 5th in Speed. Stephanie Weeks placed 5th in Endurance and 3rd in Freestyle, placing 3rd overall.  In individual competition, Intermediate division, Katie Partridge placed 4th in Power-Triple Unders.  Lauren Vaudrie and Arden Milligan were out with injuries.  In individual competition, Novice 3, Julia Fox and Brooklyn Bridle had a great showing in their first ever competition.  The team is now preparing for Provincial competition and a dinner and skipping show in April.
