Keeping the infrastructure updated is the number one priority at West Parry Sound Health Centre.
This from hospital CEO Donald Sanderson, who says there are some key areas where the 11-year-old facility needs some updating.
Sanderson says they don’t usually receive funding from the government to cover these infrastructure costs, so this money is most welcome.
North East LHIN announced $15 million would be spread out over 22 hospitals in the region and West Parry Sound received just over $1.7 million of that money.
