The North East LHIN is providing a healthy boost of funding to hospitals in Northeastern Ontario.
West Parry Sound Health Centre is one of these medical facilities benefiting from the funding with over $1.7 million.
This boost in funding comes as the Ontario government is reviewing all hospital infrastructure in the northeast.
Over $15 million is being allocated among 22 facilities in the region.
