A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Parry Sound and some areas in Muskoka.
Environment Canada says the areas under the watch include Parry Sound, Killbear Park, South River, Baysville, Burk’s Falls and Huntsville.
Officials say the severe thunderstorm may bring heavy rain, strong winds and large hail.
They are reminding everyone to take cover when threatening weather approaches.
