John passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 14 th , 2016.
Age 90 years.
Loving husband of Elly.
Dear father of Iona Brear (Carter), and the late Calvin.
Loving Grandpa of Robert Palamar (Janet); and Brett Palamar (Tanya).
Dear Great Grandpa of Kasen and McKenna Palamar.
Loving step-father of Lori Baker; Mary Ann Laughlin (Dale); Rhonda Lawrie (Darryl); Terry de Haan (Gordon); and the late Roy (Betty Boden); and Roxanne West.
Fondly remembered by his many step grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Dear brother of the late Ida Cargill, and Marie Claire.
Fondly remembered by his other relatives, and friends.
John will be remembered for his love of music.
Friends and family will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746- 5855), on Thursday, August 18th, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm.
A Celebration of John’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 18th at 2:00pm followed by a reception.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the First Baptist Church, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
