The Mayor of McDougall is seeking a fourth term. Mayor Dale Robinson is looking for re-election this fall as he filed his nomination papers on Tuesday. Robinson says he has enjoyed serving the residents of McDougall for the past 17 years and hopes they will give him the privilege of leading them for the next four years. If re-elected, Robinson says he will work to get small commercial development in the Nobel corridor, actively participate in regional economic development opportunities, the expansion of programs at existing facilities and trail system, continuing the road infrastructure upgrades, invest in extending Natural Gas to areas of the municipality, continuing the support of the Parry Sound Area Industrial Park, and maintaining a high level of service from all of the municipal departments. The municipal elections will be held in October.
